Wiltse's Brew-Pub

While staying in Oscoda we wanted to try some of the local food for dinner. We found the Wiltse's Brew Pub on F 41. As we entered the restaurant we immediately noticed the decorative boat motors and mugs on the walls.  As we were showed to our seats we noticed fishing gear and fish also added to the decorations on the walls. Being near Lake Huron and the Au Sable River, these decorations added to the atmosphere of the city. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries, which was recommended by our waitress, Cheryl. My wife ordered some barbecue ribs which came with their apple slaw and homemade baked beans.  If you ever visit and need suggestions our waitress let us know that any entrée highlighted with red is their specialty entrées. The food was served to us in just minutes and it was good. We ordered dessert next. I had the chocolate decadence, which is a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. My wife ordered the fried cheesecake. They definitely hit the spot and were a great ending to our meal.  I truly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting  the Oscoda area.
