The Stafford's Weathervane restaurant is a nice, elegant restaurant to enjoy a meal at while viewing the river. The river runs along the pier that leads to the Charlevoix South Pier Head. My wife and I were seated quickly by a friendly staff member. I had ordered their fried white fish with waffle fries. It was one of the Friday specials and offered all you can eat fried fish. My wife ordered the John Cross Lake Superior whitefish, parmesan whipped potatoes, and asparagus with carrots. The dinner was of good quality with excellent service from our waitress. We were full and turned down dessert when our waitress offered it to us. There were many great choices on the menu and when we go back we will both try something new.
