One of my favorite places to go when I am in the mood for a cold treat is Erma's, home of the Original Frozen Custard. It has been around for more than 70 years and is a favorite spot for many locals. The lines are usually long, but the taste is well worth it. Erma's has a variety of choices from cones, to sundaes to parfaits. During this visit I ordered a hot fudge sundae and my wife ordered her favorite, the triple chocolate parfait. There is seating around the side and back of the shop. We found a bench and enjoyed our treat. If you are looking for a local favorite to try and are in the Utica/Shelby area I recommend Erma's!
