Dinner with the Youngest

Enjoying a wonderful dinner prepared by my youngest daughter Adrianna and her boyfriend Nick. It is stuffed peppers with asparagus and garlic bread. The dinner was great, especially having stuffed peppers for the first time.

Stafford's Weathervane Restaurant

The Stafford's Weathervane restaurant is a nice, elegant restaurant to enjoy a meal at while viewing the river. The river runs along the pier that leads to the Charlevoix South Pier Head. My wife and I were seated quickly by a friendly staff member. I had ordered their fried white fish with waffle fries. It was one of the Friday specials and offered all you can eat fried fish. My wife ordered the John Cross Lake Superior whitefish, parmesan whipped potatoes, and asparagus with carrots. The dinner was of good quality with excellent service from our waitress. We were full and turned down dessert when our waitress offered it to us. There were many great choices on the menu and when we go back we will both try something new. If you are on vacation in the Charlevoix area, I recommend this restaurant to visit for the delicious taste with a beautiful view.  View their menu at http://www.staffords.com/view-our-menus-251/.

Delicious and Fulfilling

Majority the dishes we cook always starts at home from something simple. It could be a pastas, poultry or desert dish that can be delicious and fulfilling. The dish I've have made here is homemade mash potatoes with barbecue pork chops and asparagus. I think with preparation and confidences it's easy to create that perfect meal.

Slows Bar• B•Q

Slows Bar BQ restaurant is an excellent place to visit when you are out for a night  in the city of Detroit. My wife and I decided to go there for dinner before heading to downtown to check out the winter fun. The restaurant is easy to find. It has a  retro style look outside and a door that looks like a stack of wooden bricks.  We went early, around 4, because we know that it fills up fast. Inside and our wait time was quick about 10 minutes then they showed us to our table. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was pleasant as he took our order. We both ordered a half of slab of ribs with two different sides. I had the macaroni and cheese and the pit smoked pork & beans. My wife's sides included the sweet potato mash and zingerman's corn bread. The food was great and we had options of different sauces to use on our ribs. The service was wonderful and great the whole time we were dining. I do recommend this restaurant Slows Bar BQ to anyone in the Downtown Detroit area for a place to eat.
